Annemarijne Bax was born in The Netherlands in 1981. She has a background in social culture studies and photography. She received her bachelor degree in social culture studies in 2007. While she was graduating she started a practical study in photography by assisting several photographers. Meanwhile, she was working as a tour-guide and teacher in FOAM.

Nowadays she is working as a freelance photographer in portraits, reportage and interior in The Netherlands and abroad.
